Description

The PADI Rescue Diver Course is one of the most challenging and demanding courses, but once completed, very rewarding.

This 3 day all-inclusive course builds on the knowledge you have already acquired in your previous certifications, for example preventing problems before they occur and managing problems if they do happen.

You as a rescue diver will learn how to:

  1. Self rescue.
  2. Recognize and manage diver stress.
  3. Rescue tired and panicked divers at the surface .
  4. Conduct underwater search patterns for missing divers.
  5. Rescue unresponsive divers.
  6. Learn how to use oxygen bottle demand systems.

The fun part of the course is rising to the challenge of mastering the skills in the above mentioned.

Most divers claim that this is the best course they have ever taken, the reason they say this is that it makes you more aware in the open water and that they feel a lot more confident.

DAY 1:

  • Classroom
  • Confined Water Training in the Pool

One of our friendly staff will pick you up from your hotel and then it’s off to our dive school where you’ll meet your Pro PADI Instructor that will be spending the duration of the course with you. The first day of your course is split between the classroom and the pool where you will begin to learn and implement the core theory behind this comprehensive course.

DAY 2:

  • Classroom
  • Examination
  • Confined Water Training in the Pool

Day two of this course is similar to the first day with a combination of classroom and pool instruction. The day will finish with the PADI Rescue Diver Exam and final preparation for the open water.

DAY 3:

  • Open Water Training in the Sea
  • Certification

After we pick you up in the morning, it is off to the pier for a day of rescue scenarios and training on the open water. This is widely regarded by dive professionals and customers alike as one of the most fun times you will ever have on a dive boat. Upon Completion of the day you will be officially certified as a PADI Rescue Diver! Next stop PADI Divemaster!
